After trying to play the actual board game Agricola once with friends, we found it interesting but also cluttered, and a little time consuming to replenish the spaces.
Furthermore, the rules are a little confusing if you dont have a veteran explaining it to you.
I downloaded this app afterward, and really liked the built in tutorial. Its great for really getting to understand the mechanics and dynamics of the game, and help you build strategy. As an app game it goes so much faster than a game against humans and so its not as draining.
As a noob, it was a little frustrating at first to lose against the computer all the time, but now I am winning a bit more.
I would now feel much more confident to play the game in person, which is ultimately the way board games like this are supposed to be experienced.
App design and gameplay is nice for the most part, and I havent encountered many bugs.
